PHILLIP OSBORNE

Phil-02 F.jpg

Kia ora, I'm Phillip Osborne. I am an experienced Barrister specialising in criminal defence. Prior to starting my own practice I worked for a senior Barrister Phillip Hamlin for eight years and I appear regularly in the District Court, High Court, and Parole Board. I am available for both private and legal aid instructions on all types of charges with a penalty up to and including 20 years' imprisonment and all New Zealand Parole Board proceedings.

I have a special interest in parole law and I am a member of The Law Association Parole and Prisoner RIghts Committee. I will work with you towards the outcome you are seeking, whether that involves negotiating the best possible charges for plea, mounting a strong defence at trial or applying for release from prison on parole.

I understand that facing criminal charges or serving a sentence of imprisonment is a stressful time in my clients' lives and that listening to your story with empathy and compassion is a must.

Call me or email me for a friendly confidential chat today.
